Cumberland Falls State Park

Cumberland Falls are called the “Niagra Falls of the South” and are known for having a moonbow on clear, full moon nights. I would love to go back to see that.

This was just a quick side trip to see the falls. It was a beautiful 75 degree day and as we walked along the dogs got all the attention as people asked to pet them and talk to them.  I also met a woman from Massachusetts who was on her first solo trip. We stopped and discussed the joys of traveling alone. Kind of like going to movies alone — you can have a great time and no one rains on your parade.
